A different chassis no?!

This day was a busy day for me, i traveled all the way from the city to visit a college class reunion and also to visit my girlfriend. The weekend was all fun except for the problem i’ve heard of as i arrived home. As soon as i arrived home, i received a phone call from the guy who i bought my car from. He told me that the chassis no. of my car doesn’t match that one on the papers. It’s quite scary so i had to go to his place and asked him to recheck the chassis no. once again. And it really doesn’t match! I asked him what happened and he told me that it could just be a possible clerical error.

Well, i just hope so since he’s having the car transferred under my name, i don’t want any issues with the car. So be it, i’ll have to wait for a few more weeks for the results. At least, now, moral lesson learned! Always check the engine number and chassis no. especially in buying second hand cars! Perhaps i got to excited! I just hope that everything ends well!

Tips in applying for car loans

There are several things you should bear in mind whenever applying for car loans. There are actually several institutions which can lend you money such as banks and lending companies. You can actually check online and most sites have auto loan calculators which shall make payment calculations for you.

I myself got a car from a car loan. I got a 2 door Mitsubishi Lancer GSR all from just a car loan. Actually it’s a used car but it’s still of good quality and A1 driving condition. I have just applied for a loan online by filling up forms. They reviewed my application and they had it approved at an instant. What’s good about it is that they have low interest rated and guess what, they had the vehicle delivered right at my doorstep. I’m just glad that I was able to make a deal with a really trusted company.

Car jerking strikes back!

After another month, the frequent jerking comes back again! It’s just like a nightmare haunting me! So I changed the fuel filter again! But it’s just not normal! How often should I change this fuel filter! I was thinking was it because of it’s brand? Is this brand just crappy ones?! I was using Maruzen fuel filters and according to some people whom I talk to, these filters are already good so I still end up wondering what’s happening?! Before, it used to run just like those fast cars that you’ll see on movies but now I just think there must be something wrong going on down under! Perhaps on the fuel tank!

Aside from just having the tank cleaned up, I had it totally opened! And there I saw how dirty the tank was! It was like a tank filled with mud and residues! I had everything cleaned up and so far everything has been working well. In a few more weeks, if the fuel filter doesn’t clog up, I could therefore conclude that all of these was caused by this dirty fuel tank! By next week, I’ll also get new tires so I could go back on the race track!

One Important Thing To Consider

There are a lot of tips that were given to me since I am about to buy a new car for the whole family to use. Tons of explanations were given one by one and at this point, I am getting really annoyed and really fed up since they all have different opinions on things and for some reason, they keep on taking a shot on the tips that were already given to me. It was like one whole war of words inside my head, which is basically making me all confused…

One tip though that I think is the most rational is the tip about energy. I was told to make sure of thinking about the energy first before buying a car, whether it is brand new or second hand. This is the one particular tip that kept on popping out whenever they shove their tips in to my head, and that is to make sure that I don’t look at the car from its tag price, but look at it from how the gas tank work. See to it that I will buy something that can save me energy in the long run because it will save me more money even if the model is a little more expensive to buy.

Welcome to my automobile blog!

Ever since I was a kid, I always dream of having my own ride! About a few months back, my dream came true and I was able to buy myself a 2nd hand ’91 model Mitsubishi Galant. I find it quite nice especially for a first car. It’s got 17” chrome mag wheels, a pioneer head unit with pioneer rear and front speakers. It’s got a good engine and nice paint.

I’m actually the type of person who’s very much into car customization, I may not be a car racer but I’m more into restoring or remodeling cars to make it appear eye popping! I’m looking forward to share my views and opinions with all you car enthusiast out there in my first ever car blog! See ya’ll!
